Laurene has been a paralegal with the firm since its inception, and is well experienced to link arms with our clients and carry out our attorney's probate, trust or Medicaid recommendations.

She has worked for area law firms for more than 30 years, acquiring experience in all areas of law, but has concentrated her practice in the areas of probate administration, elder law, and Medicaid planning. Laurene is currently handling probate, estate and trust administration matters for the firm. In addition to her legal skills, Laurene brings to her job continual good cheer and is the firm's informal goodwill ambassador!

In 1976, Laurene completed the course for legal assistance training in estate administration at Hartford College for Women. She graduated with an Associates Degree with Honors from Tunxis Community/Technical College in 1991. Laurene has also attended classes at the University of Connecticut School of Law and has continued to be kept advised of current changes in her areas of practice by attending seminars given by the Connecticut Bar Association, the National Business Institute, the Practicing Law Institute and Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company.

Laurene, who was born and raised in Berlin, Connecticut, has lived in Southington, Connecticut since 1979. She has two grown children, Kelly and Michael.
