Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri Launches Initiative to Improve Respite Care Availability

After years of working with the elderly and their families, Attorney Sharon L. Pope set a personal goal that matches her clients: to keep a loved out of an institution and at home or in the community as long as possible.

One of the best ways to accomplish this is to take care of the caregiver.

With this goal in mind, Sharon is spearheading a respite care initiative with the hopes of making Connecticut a model state for respite care delivery. Connecticut currently has 3 programs available and Sharon is looking to expand and add to these programs so caregivers get a break.

Sharon recently formed and met with a study group of leaders that convened at the Town and County Club in Hartford to review how the state’s existing programs work. The objective of this first meeting was to collaborate on ways to get additional funds for respite grants and brainstorm ideas for ways to enhance programs statewide

“All dealings have been excellent. Very professional organization. Great explanations of our options related to preparing a will. Clear, concise, great guidance and not trying to "sell us" on something we do not need. Administrative folks were super. All of our related paperwork was clearly tagged with what we needed to provide/sign/read /etc. Made things easy. Nice work.” L.G., Berlin, CT

“We loved working with your firm and really trust the advice. You have a well-deserved reputation and it was nice to check off a number of things that had been on our To-Do list. Although it's hard to make the time to take care of some of these matters, it is a great relief when you do so. I would definitely recommend your firm to anyone in need of the services that you provide.” L.M., Simsbury, CT
